Teacher’s Union Calls SCOTUS Janus Decision Unfortunate

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Supreme Court decision barring some unions from collecting so-called ‘fair share fees’ from non-members for the work the unions do is being called “unfortunate” by one Ohio union.

The Ohio Association of Public School Employees says in part, in a news release, that the “Supreme Court decision doesn’t change our mission, and it won’t stop our members from staying union strong”.

OAPSE also links to an AFSCME article, in which their president calls the ruling an “unprecedented and nefarious political attack”.
